Training Classes at The Pup Club

Puppy Foundations (8–16 weeks)

Starting your puppy off right is crucial for building a happy, well-adjusted dog. In this class, we cover essential puppy basics—like socialisation, crate training, and basic commands. You'll also learn how to prevent common issues like biting or chewing. Positive reinforcement techniques will ensure your pup has fun while they learn!

Beginner Obedience (4 months +)

New to training? This class focuses on laying down the groundwork for good behaviour. We teach essential commands like sit, stay, come, and heel, while also building focus and attention. By the end, your dog will have the tools they need to be well-mannered in everyday situations.

Advanced Obedience (6 months +)

Ready to take your dog's training to the next level? Advanced Obedience is for dogs who already know basic commands and are ready to refine their skills. This class focuses on off-leash training, impulse control, and solidifying a strong, reliable recall. We also tackle real-life distractions so your dog can be reliable in any environment.

Reactive Dog Training

Does your dog bark, lunge, or become overexcited around other dogs or people? Our Reactive Dog Training classes address these specific behavioural challenges. Roisin will work with you on desensitisation, impulse control, and creating positive associations so your dog can be calmer and more focused in situations that trigger them.

Canine Good Citizen Prep

Want your dog to be a well-rounded, confident companion? This class prepares your dog for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test, covering everything from polite greetings to accepting handling and staying calm in public spaces. It's a great way to build a deeper bond and teach your dog how to be the best citizen on the block!

One-on-One Private Sessions

If you need more personalised attention or have specific behavioural concerns, our one-on-one private training sessions are perfect. Roisin will work closely with you and your dog to develop a customised plan that targets your dog's unique needs, offering tailored guidance and support every step of the way.
